Zac Bissonnette wrote two acclaimed bestsellers before his 24th birthday: Debt-Free U — called "the best and most troubling book ever about the college admissions process" by the Washington Post — and How to Be Richer, Smarter, and Better-Looking Than Your Parents, a New York Times bestseller.

His 2015 book The Great Beanie Baby Bubble was adapted into the Apple TV+ film The Beanie Bubble, starring Zach Galifianakis, Elizabeth Banks, and Sarah Snook. His writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Glamour, Salon, and The Daily Beast, among others, and he was the editor of Warman's Guide to Antiques & Collectibles.

A Killing in Costumes was his first novel. Dink or Die — the first book in the Pickleball Mysteries — is his second. It comes out in 2027.
